Hi! I started this blog because i found this really cool group of people, the Christian Agrarians, and i was like, "Hey, people like me!!!!" which is very exciting. You never meet people like that, at least not in my world, so i decided i must write a blog and join them. how exciting.
I live in GA, in a very small "town" and i work at a "miniature farm petting zoo". that is the animals on the farm are mostly all miniature, not the farm itself being miniature. It is a lot of fun. Right now we are geared up for goat season. We have had 7 babies in 2 days from 3 goats, and we have 14 more goats left to birth. That is a lot of babies. I don't know why they choose the coldest days to birth, but it makes it a lot less fun for me. Then at home i have my menagerie(2horses, 3German Shepherds, a Chocolate Lab, and 7 cats). And that is all with us living here without a house. Hopefully we will have the house by the end of the year, because it finally seems to be working for us, but we are still praying it doesn't get delayed anymore. It has already been 20 years since we bought the land and started working at getting a house, that is a long time to wait. What a lesson in patients God is giving us. But we have gotten a lot from trying to work on it, we have learned a lot and done a lot as a family because we haven't had it, so i guess it is good. But, we are still hoping and praying that it finally does happen.
