Wow, i actually forgot i had this blog, it has been quite a while since i wrote anything.

We have moved into the house and have moved my dogs and kitties in. We now have a new cat and my grandfather's dog (she is hypothyroid and now has a torn ligament and he can't take care of her). Tomorrow she is having surgery to fix her knee, so hopefully all goes well. We are still working on prepping the gardens around the house. We were able to get some harvest this past summer in our raised beds, but have a few more kinks to work out. Our tomatoes didn't produce hardly where they were, so we might have to modify or improve that ground. We are putting in all the perennials and fruit trees/shrubs. So far we have apple, peach, blueberry, and i think a plum tree and are working on finding some more heritage breeds to bring in.

It will probably be another year before we get chickens and the coop ready (first things first, have to finish building the cabinets in the house before we get too carried away outside.)

Everything has worked out wonderfully. Even the things that didn't go so well have taught us all something. God always provides, we just have to accept what he is giving, even if it wasn't the way we planned it.
